The Vendée Globe is a single-handed, non-stop round-the-world yacht race that began in 1989. Starting from Les Sables d'Olonne, France, it is an extreme yacht race where competitors sail solo around the globe, rounding the three capes: the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Leeuwin, and Cape Horn.

Held on the same cycle as the Olympics, it is the pinnacle of single-handed, non-stop round-the-world yacht racing.

Masa SUZUKI
Masa SUZUKI Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1985. Graduated from Hosei University (Athletic Association Yacht Club). Aiming to compete in the Mini Transat to fulfill his childhood dream of intercontinental yacht crossings. In 2018, he left his corporate job and fully plunged into the world of offshore yacht racing. Completed the Mini Transat in 2019. In 2022-23, he competed in the Globe40 with Koji NAKAGAWA, achieving 3rd place overall. Currently based in France, he is working towards becoming the second Japanese person to complete the Vendée Globe.
